The Clock Tower Project
The Clock tower project launched in September 2021.
Every afternoon in term time, many young people leave their respective schools and gather at Clock Tower area in Bexleyheath – some to catch buses, some to socialise with friends. This sometimes results in disruption and conflict.
The Clock Tower Project brings together youth workers and volunteers from across Bexley to meet these young people where they are. The Clock Tower Project workers are there to listen to and connect with young people.
The aim is to build relationships with young people, give them a listening ear and access to mental health support and through engagement and prayer reduce the disruption that can occur at that time.
The Clock Tower Project is BCLC’s Mission of the month for June 2020. If you would like to give towards the project, you can do so via the yellow envelopes in the foyer, or by contacting us.
