With the news that the government is proceeding with step 4 of "unlocking” the country, you will no doubt be wondering what this means for us at BCLC.
Firstly, from Sunday 25th July we will at last be able to have congregational singing again in our building! Praise God!
However, we must be mindful that the government are taking the exit strategy 'slowly, steadily and cautiously'. Cases are rising and as a congregation we have a duty of care to each other. We must remain vigilant and as a leadership (with AOG recommendations) we have made the decision for a phased easing of restrictions.
We will stay with social distancing measures inside of the building for the short term. To enable this, we are asking you to please book on Eventbrite as before. From August, the booking process will be simplified requiring you to provide only the name and contact information of the person making the booking as well as the number of tickets you need.
We would also ask that if you find the service fully booked that you join the waiting list. This is important as a growing waiting list will tell us if we need to increase spaces available.
We encourage you to feel free to sing as part of your worship in the services from July 25th, but also ask that you continue to wear a face covering. Some people will be happy to hug and chat and some will prefer to maintain social distancing. This is an opportunity to continue to show love and respect for one another.
Excitingly, from October, the Wednesday evening meeting will be held in the building (with online streaming) so please do join us in person for this if you can. You are also welcome to join us in person for our monthly prayer and worship evenings which are a wonderful time of soaking in God's presence. Booking is not required for either of these meetings - just turn up and sign in at the door.
As always if you have any symptoms remain at home. The services will continue to be live streamed but we do encourage all of you to return in person as soon as you are able!
