Bola's Story

Name: Bola Ojo

Role at BCLC: Elder

Some things you may or may not know about Bola:

"I'm a Trekkie! I like Star Trek movies and sci-fi generally! I enjoy music and worship. I am so grateful that I am a Christian; my life now makes sense and has real purpose."

How Bola first came to faith:

"I was brought up in a Christian home, what I can now describe as church goers. I never knew you could have a personal walk with God, talk and pray to Him just like a true, trusted, well positioned friend. One day, 29 years ago, a friend told me about Jesus, invited me to a gospel service and the rest is history. I can say with all my heart, that once I was blind but now I see!

God answered Bola's prayer when:

"We moved into the new building!!!! Yeah! Praise........God!! 🙌🏾🙏🏾💃🏾👏🏽🎼🎼"

Bola's future hopes for BCLC:

"That we would attract thousands to the knowledge of Christ; be relevant and responsive to the needs of the local community and the international mission field; that all of us in the church would be spiritually mature able to cope successfully with the challenges of life. That we not fear death and enjoy life in Christ."
