There has been a Church on Rowan Road since 1930, when the then "Full Gospel Church" was opened debt-free. The church's affliation to the AOG can be traced back to those days.
Since then, the Church has gone through many changes. In 1993, the then Pastor renamed the Church "Marantha Pentecostal Christian Fellowship". Our currrent name, Bexley Christian Life Centre, was adopted in 2004. In 2015, we celebrated our 85th Anniversary with a community barbecue.
It has been said in the light of it's long history and commitment to overseas work over the years that "The church may be situated in a back street of Bexleyheath, but it seems as though it is at the crossroads of the world".
In September 2017 we said a fond farewell to the building that has been our home since 1930, due to an increasing congregation size and moved to a bigger buidling just 10 minutes walk away, on Upland Road. Read all about it here.
